Egypt's former president Mubarak and his two sons have each been sentenced to be in prison for three years for corruption. He and his sons were also fined $16m (£10.5m).
Mubarak and sons Alaa and Gamal wore dark clothes and sunglasses as they sat in the Cairo court(开罗法庭). At the age of 87, Mubarak looked good, he smiled and waved to his supportors while sitting there. Mubarak will return to the hospital where he has spent much of his time in prison.
They had already been sentenced to be in prison for three years of using public funds to their private homes. However, it is not clear if that will include time they have already served behind bars.
The three were arrested in 2011 after Mubarak was toppled after three decades in power. In the months after he was toppled, his leaders and police commanders were aslo arrested and put into prison.
The next president after Mubarak was Mohamed Morsi, he was also toppled by the army in 2013 in a coup that left hundreds dead. Mohamed Morsi has been sentenced to 20 years in prison over deadly clashes outside his palace during his year in power.
