I remember when I was little, my mom sometimes cooked tea eggs by herself for us. But she doesn’t cook tea eggs now. A few days ago, I asked my mother to teach me how to cook tea eggs .Now I’d like to share the cooking process below with you!
Step One: Wash eggs with clean water and then boil the 8 eggs for about 8 minutes. Make sure you have to cover all of the eggs with water. When time is up, take the eggs from the hot water.
Step Two: Wrap(包好) black tea in a piece of cloth and tie the cloth with a line to make a black tea bag.
Step Three: Place the 8 eggs and black tea bag in a bottle .Pour some boiled water into the bottle .Then add 3 spoonfuls of salt and sugar to the water.
Besides eating tea eggs cooked by my mom, I seemed to also buy tea eggs from small shops when I was a kid. Tea eggs were very popular with children at that time. However, we were later told that eating too many tea eggs was not good for health. Anyway, I can’t forget the delicious taste and pleasant smell of tea eggs which take me back to the warm memories of the past.
