A pilot(飞行员) from a U.S. plane bought his passengers pizza. Their plane was five hours late. He bought 50 family-sized pizzas for his 157 passengers. He gave the money himself. He told his passengers that it was cheap to the plane, but not cheap to him. He said, “I just bought pizza for the plane.”
The pilot said the plane and passengers were a big family. He said other pilots buy food for passengers. Many pilots do special(特别的) things for passengers. The pilot helped carry the pizza to the plane. The pizza restaurant was surprised. The pilot said on the phone, “I need to feed(喂养) my plane.”
