Since the winter came, it had been raining in Suzhou for weeks. The bad weather limited our outdoor activities and made us sad. So, when the weather turned to be sunny, my friend and I decided immediately to climb the Tianping Mountain on Saturday to relax ourselves. When we arrived at the root of the mountain on Saturday, we suddenly found that we were not the only two people who had got this idea. It was a lot of people! Although there were so many people, we were still very happy to reach the peak(山顶). We climbed up on a huge stone which overlooked(俯瞰） the city of Suzhou . It did look like a city of fairyland, because the smog(雾) was hovering over the city. The city was like a sick girl with a pale face.
Today, I heard a piece of news from one of my friends: our college recently has organized an activity, which is to pick up the rubbish at the Tianping Mountain during weekends. I was very glad to know that we had already started to do something to improve the relationship between human beings(人类) and the nature and try to make a difference. Tomorrow, I’ll call my friend and tell her: I'm in!
