It is a fine day in Russia, but it’s very cold. The water in the river turns into ice. Many children go and play on the ice. Two of them are very excited and jump onto a piece of ice. They think the ice is like a boat. They are so happy, but they don’t know the boat is going into the center of the river. When they find the ice goes into the river, they begin to cry for help. People heard them but they can not get to the children. They have to call the police. The police come and save the children. The children are both fine. The police help the two children go back to their homes.
Police tell people that the ice is not safe to stand on, they have to be very careful.
