Korean girls are all so beautiful. That was my first impression of Korea as I was standing on the busy street in Seoul(首尔). It can be seen that they spend a lot of time on their face, hair and clothing.
So on the first night in Seoul, I went online and searched for “the best cosmetics(化妆品) to buy in Korea”. The next day, I got up early and went straight to the mall. The shopping mall looked like any shopping mall in China, but when I stepped out of the lift, I realized I was too young and too simple. Even at this time, the mall was very crowded. I didn’t waste any time and went to the Korean girl straight away and spoke to her in Chinese. The trip was successful and I got the things I wanted. I came out of the building with three big bags in hand and felt very happy.
Looking back at the trip, I feel I was attracted by the atmosphere of consumerism(消费主义). It makes people think: if I buy this, or use this brand, maybe I will look like the girl in the advertisement who has the perfect look, or at least look like every other girl on the street.
