If you saw someone lying in the street in pain(痛苦) or bleeding(流血), would you stop to help him? Or would you just walk by for fear of being scammed(欺诈)?
Wu Wei (Thailand)
I think we should trust others. If you are afraid of being scammed, you can bring some witnesses(目击者) with you. Get about four or five witnesses around you and go to help the person.
Tony (UK)
I saw an old man fall down in the cold winter in Harbin last year. I couldn’t get him up on my own because he was very fat. So I asked the others to help me carry him to the hospital. He had no money, so I spent over 5,000 yuan on him. Later that evening his son came and thanked me.
Mike (Malaysia)
Scamming happens but not all the time. I once helped a boy lying in pain. He fell off his bike. He crashed(碰撞) on the rear(后部) of a taxi. The driver drove away and the bike boy was left alone in the middle of the street. Two weeks later, he found me and thanked me for my help.
