Two big U.S. retailers changed their gun sales policies because of a Florida high school shooting. Walmart, the country's biggest retailer, said only people who were older than 21 years old could buy guns. Walmart would be a responsible seller.
Walmart is also dropping toys which like assault-style weapons from its website. Walmart stopped selling assault-style guns in 2015 and does not sell handguns except for its stores in Alaska.
Dick's Sporting Goods said it would no longer sell any assault-style gun to anyone younger than 21.
Both Walmart and Dick's say they are committed to serving sportsmen, hunters, and other gun owners who obey the laws.
