Lisa was running in the park. She saw an old man. He was sitting on a chair with two bags in his hands. There was a dog beside him. The dog was looking up at the old man.
Lisa was tired, so she ran up to the old man and said, "Hello! May I sit here?"
"Of course," The old man said. Lisa sat down next to the old man on the chair, and they talked for a while. The dog was still looking up at the old man, as if it was time to feed.
"The dog is so strong and healthy. But he seems hungry. He hasn't taken his eyes off you. He thinks you've got some food for him," Lisa said.
"But I haven't food now," the old man said.
Then Lisa asked, "Does your dog bite(咬)?"
"No. He's never bitten anyone. He is cute and friendly."
When Lisa heard this, she tried to touch the dog's head. Suddenly the dog jumped up and bit her.
"Oh!" Lisa shouted. “You said your dog didn't bite.”
The old man answered in surprise, "Yeah, I did. But this is not my dog. My dog's at home."
