According to a report by Digital Trends, scientists have solved the long lingering question of how long is a day on Saturn.
This number was reportedly hard to calculate as the gas giant does not have a solid surface. The gas giant can not be tracked as the planet rotates. However, using data from the Cassini spacecraft, NASA scientists have managed to determine that a day on Saturn lasts ten hours, 33 minutes, and 38 seconds.
The newly determined day length is just slightly shorter than previous estimates, such as the 10:39:22 estimation based on 1981 magnetic field data from the Voyager space probe.
