Researchers are revisiting old studies in an effort to help us all learn how to forgive others and live healthier lives.
According to CNN, a 2009 study found that anger and hostility was linked with increased coronary events(冠心病事件), such as heart attack among healthy people. The findings led researchers to explore the benefits of forgiveness.
A 2016 study found that over time, increases in forgiveness are associated with decreases in stress. Forgiveness might provide some protective health benefits for people.
