Steve Curto wanted a way for his wife, Camre, to remember their 10-year time together, everything from their first date to their wedding and the birth of their son. So Curto, 38, of Michigan, wrote a book, “But I Know I Love You”. He published it by himself on their fourth wedding anniversary last month.
Camre Curto, 31, has no memory of anything in her husband’s book. She lost her memories when she suffered a bad illness. On that day, she gave birth to their 7-year-old son Gavin in hospital.
"Everything in the book is a memory of the past — what we went through and what I missed," Camre Curto said. "I enjoy reading it very much, but right now with everything it’s kind of mixed feelings."
