Here is a piece of sad news as India’s Narayana Reddy has passed away. The 73-year-old was the star of the famous YouTube channel “Grandpa Kitchen” where he cooked giant meals for orphans in India. The beloved grandfather was laid to rest on Sunday, October 27, 2019.
According to the World Of Buzz, Narayana’s channel was started in 2017. The channel grew in popularity with over 6 million subscribers and over 600 million views. He cooked giant meals and fed orphan kids in Telangana, India. From chicken steak to oreo chocolate cookie, he cooked an international array of food. His most popular video is the “French Fries Recipe” with over 37 million views. Reddy starts his videos with his motto “Loving. Caring. Sharing. This is my family.” before he cooks the food for the kids. At the end of every video, he tries the food before passing what he cooked to the orphans.
It is really sad to see such a good and joyful person pass away. The channel owners uploaded a video of his funeral where he is surrounded by fans. “Help people until you live on earth,” Narayana Reddy says from an old recording. In addition to the YouTube channel, “Grandpa Kitchen” also has a Patreon page where their goal is “to provide basic necessities like food, clothing, school supplies and birthday gifts for orphans.”
Many people were upset and sad by Reddy’s passing. “Today is the sad day of my life, the legend YouTuber ‘Grandpa Kitchen’ has gone forever,” one Twitter user said. “A generous 73-old-man that has been helping people especially the orphans with the food that he cooked on YouTube. I always look up to his recipe, simple yet delicious. I’m so sad.”
