In Congo, lots of people can’t find their jobs. But one of the safest career perhaps there is to become a teacher , though it’s no easy to do. In fact, it’s becoming increasingly competitive. They need teach students specific skills that seem to have little to do with knowledge .
Mr White says:” I’m a school maths teacher. But I don’t often teach maths. What I should do is not only to teach the students how to devote themselves to the Lord, but also how to sing, how to play an instrument, and more generally, how to put on a great show. It’s important to take them to your audience, not to sing too high or too low, so they can follow during the ceremony.If you fail to do it, the parents will not let the students learn from you. Then maybe I will lose the job”.
“Yeah. I’ve applied for jobs everywhere in different companies. I haven’t received any feedback. So I’m waiting for them to call me.” he also says.
