The scene of the fight between a security guard (保安) and the wild pig has become popular online.
At around 11 am, the wild pig was discovered near the campus of Anqing Normal University’s western gate. As more people came to watch, the pig suddenly rushed to the school gate. Even though school security tried to intercept it, the pig, moving quickly, successfully entered the school grounds and disappeared into the nearby woods.
When the wild pig entered the school gate, Wang Maohua and three other campus security guards were working. Wang described the wild pig as strong, weighing over fifty kilograms and measuring over a meter in length. He expressed, “When I suddenly saw this large wild pig running towards us, I was really afraid. It was my first encounter (相遇) with a wild pig.” Although Wang and three other campus security guards were afraid, they were worried that the wild pig’s entry into the campus could endanger students. They chose to drive it away. Wang Maohua explained, “It was very fast. By the time we tried to stop it, it had already dashed into the campus.”
