Many people drink cow’s milk. But they are worried about animals at the same time. So more and more people stop drinking cow’s milk now.
They want to drink plant milk. This kind of milk comes from plants like nuts(坚果) or soy(大豆). But some of them don’t like its taste. They also worry that it may bring problems to the natural world. So they don’t drink plant milk, either.
Now scientists create(创造) a new kind of milk in the lab(实验室) for them. This new milk has real milk parts in it. It tastes like cow’s milk. To make it, we do not need any animals. No plants are needed, either. Scientists use genetically modified microbes(转基因微生物). These microbes make the milk parts. This new milk is better for both animals and the natural world. Why not have a try?
