When winter ends, spring begins. The night becomes shorter and the day becomes longer. The weather gets warmer. Plants and animals come back. Let’s see how we use our senses to experience(体验) the season.
Seeing
Look! Trees turn △. They have new leaves(叶子). You can see lots of birds in the trees. Baby animals are born. Bears come out of hibernation(冬眠).
Smelling
There are many flowers in the spring. They are in different colours, such as red, pink, purple, yellow... Stop and smell them. What is your favorite flower?
Hearing
Listen to the sounds of a spring storm(暴风雨). Rain is falling. Thunder is clapping. When it is over, birds will be singing.
Tasting
Strawberries are ripe in spring. That means they are ready to eat. You can enjoy delicious strawberries with your family. They have a lot of juice and are sweet. Yum!
Touching
In the spring, you can feel the warm air on your skin. You feel wind blowing in your hair.
