The boy Jose was born in 2017. He has Down syndrome(唐氏综合征).
One afternoon, Jose’s mother, Jasmine woke up from a short sleep and couldn’t find her son. The family’s 1-year-old dog Alejandro was also missing. She knew right away that the dog was with Jose. After looking for them for 30 minutes, the family called the police.
The police tried their best to find the boy. They didn’t think a 5-year-old could get too far on foot, but they were wrong! They found Jose about one kilometer from his home. His dog stayed with him.
The police checked over(检查) Jose and gave him some water. The boy was not hurt. Jose’s family was happy when they saw Jose again. They also thanked the dog for keeping him safe!
