Bryan O’Keeffe was 153 kilograms in 2021. Bryan tried everything to lose weight(体重) but nothing worked. He then tried a different way — he took a seven-month trip.
Bryan moved to Mallorca, Spain. In seven months, he never took a day off. He got hurt many times. He kept training in pain(痛苦). Every day, he just tried to do more. Bryan walked 90 minutes a day in the first two weeks. He then started to swim three times a week and run four times a week. Nine weeks later, he could run a 5K in 34 minutes.
Seven months later, when he went back to his home in Cork, Ireland, he was 91 kilograms. “It was months of pain. The first three months I couldn’t do anything other than eat, sleep and exercise. The rest of the time, I was on lying on my sofa. After the 4th month, it wasn’t quite as bad,” Bryan said. His families and friends were all in big surprise.
