A heavy snowstorm(暴风雪) hits the US. Lots of people have a power cut. The storm brings ice, heavy snow, and strong winds. It is very cold. People try their best to keep warm. They even burn(烧掉) clothes.
A very bad thing happens in New York City. Almost all fire trucks(消防车) are in snow. They cannot help people.
Buffalo is a city in America. The snowstorm is the worst(最坏的) in 45 years there. At least 13 people die. They die in their cars and in the snow.
In some places, the weather gets better. More snow will come later in the week.
