Rain can be disappointing, but don’t cancel your day out just yet. There are plenty of things that you can do on a rainy day.
Go to a museum
This is probably one of the first things we all think of. When it starts raining, museums can often be filled with people looking for cover. This can make getting into a museum very tough, but, with a little forward planning, getting in can be an easy thing. Simply keep up to date with your weather app and book tickets ahead on rainy days.

This may sound strange at first. However, a walk in the rain can not only be fun, but it can also clear the mind. The sound of rain is something we all find relaxing. Heading out can be a great experience. It can give you a new view on where you live, because the streets become empty with everyone inside.
Go traveling
Travelling on a rainy day can be just as good as on a sunny day. On a rainy day, there will be fewer tourists. Trafalgar Square in London, the Angel of the North in the North East and the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol are just a few examples you could visit.
Go to an indoor market
An indoor market can make a rainy day feel like a day in summer. At an indoor market, you can get away from the rain, have something to eat and find something you love. Britain is famous for its indoor markets, from Affleck’s to Snoopers Paradise. There are so many indoor markets to choose from. You can find anything that you are looking for.
