Hundreds of people have to leave their homes in the South African city of Cape Town because of wildfires.
The fires is burning terribly these days, and it is completely out of control, with smoke and flames lighting the night sky around Table Mountain National Park.
People have to stay in a community centre, but they later returned home even though the fire was not yet fully under control. A fire department spokesman said 150 firefighters are working 24-hour shifts in hot summer temperatures of up to 29℃ (84℉) to put out the fire, which started on Sunday. But rain showers were not enough to put it out, he said. "We had some rain but it was not enough to change the situation."
Luckily they successfully controlled the fire to the Tokai Forest and the Clovelly neighbourhood, the spokesman said.
