中考英语听力测试主要考查考生对英语口语的理解、判断和辨析能力，也就是考查考生对特定情境中的对话或独白所表述信息的信息输入、分析、理解，对有效信息和无效信息的输入判定和选择，最后作出准确的理解和判断，同时也考查考生对对话或独白所表述信息的理解存储和加工能力。

中考英语听力测试命题遵循如下三原则：

1. 循序渐进原则。即测试顺序通常是听句子、听短对话、听长对话或独白、听短文。句子在前，短对话、长对话或独白在中，短文在后，遵循由易到难、由短到长的原则。

2. 交际性原则。即立足英语的学科特点，听力测试充分体现交际性和人文性原则。

3. 实践性原则。即中考英语听力测试题材来源于现实生活，试题内容贴近考生生活实际，所测试的对话情景基本上是《义务教育英语考试大纲》后面所列的30项日常交际用语的范围，即问候、介绍、告别、打电话、感谢和应答、祝愿、祝贺和应答、意愿、道歉和应答、遗憾和同情、邀请与应答、提供（帮助）和应答、请求允许和应答、表示同意和不同意、表示肯定和不肯定、喜好和厌恶、谈论天气、购物、问路和应答、问时间或日期和应答、请求、劝告和建议、禁止和警告、表示感情、就餐、约会、传递信息、看病、求助、处理交际中的障碍、常见的标志和说明等等。

中考英语听力测试的题型常见有四种：　01听句子或对话选图片解题技巧：

正确识别这些图片的主要意思，尽可能找出相似图片之间的不同之处，听懂句子的意思，要善于抓住听力材料中与图片吻合的关键词语。

例1: 

What will the weather be like tomorrow？

听力原稿：

M: Hi, Betty! It's rainy today, I don't know what the weather will be like tomorrow？

W: Hi, Mike! It's reported that it will be sunny tomorrow.

解析：

这是一段谈论天气的听力材料。考生应迅速锁定与图片吻合的关键词语rainy与sunny。由于询问的是明天的天气，故根据答语应选B。若考生不注意存贮理解对话的整体信息，容易误选A。

02听对话或独白及所提出的问题，选出正确的答案

解题技巧：

考生应听清楚对话或独白及所提出的问题，抓住对话或独白中关键性的词语，如：“名词、动词、频度副词、数字、日期”等。同时，考生还应注意说话人的语气态度、假信息干扰、数字计算问题、隐含信息的挖掘，需要进行逻辑推断等等，是听力测试中容易失分的一类题型，考生在平时听力训练中要引起足够的重视！

例2: 

What would Cathy like to do to help the kids?

A. To teach the kids Chinese.

B. To teach the kids English.

C. To teach the kids singing.

听力原稿:

W1: I'd like to help the kids after school, but I don't know what to do. Can you help me, Mrs Smith?

W2: Well, Cathy, you are good at singing. Why not teach the kids singing?

W1: But I'd like to help them with their study.

W2: Then you can help them with their English. Don't forget you do very well in English.

4. 隐含信息，需要推断

03听短文，选出正确的答案

解题技巧：

这个题型在听之前，要预先把问题和进行选择的选项按顺序通读一遍，先大概明白人物、事件、时间、地点等一系列信息。在听的过程中，只要按题目顺序逐个进行判断选择即可。如果一时有一句没有听懂，要学会随机应变，把听懂的先做，第二次听的时候，再补上先前遗漏的题目。还有，不能主观臆断，如果所听材料中没有提及的内容，不能毫无理由的猜测。特别注意题目中如果出现一些词，如：always, never, all, only, sometimes…，在听之前就划出来，听的时候需要与文章内容进行比较后再思考、判断、进行选择。

例3: 

听短文，选答案：本题你将听到一篇短文，读两遍，请从每个小题的三个选项中，选出最恰当的一项。

04听对话或短文，完成句子

解题技巧：

这个题型既考查听的能力，又考查单词的拼写能力，是听力测试中最难的一类题型。考生应注意在听之前理解句子的内容，由此推断文章的主旨；要研究句子中有哪些项目，各缺少什么内容。在听录音时，就可以带着明确的任务去捕捉所需要的信息。在做的时候一定要仔细，注意单词的拼写与大小写。

做完之后一定要从下面三方面进行检查：

1) 格式统一：动词不定式，动名词，动词过去式。

2) 语法精确：名词单复数，动词第三人称单数。形容词和副词的等级运用等。

3) 同音和近音：如see / sea; forty / fourteen等等。
