   We often see animal actors on TV, in the movies, or in advertisements(广告). Some of these animal actors are known and loved by many people.    
Most TV and movie studios(制作室) get their animal actors from companies. The companies train and “rent” different kinds of animals, like horses and monkeys.
Most animals are chosen for their looks, but personality(个性) is also important. People often want a friendly animal. The most important is that the animal can be trained. Animal actors have to follow instructions(指令) and sit for a long time without moving. A ten-second TV advertisement can sometimes take hours. This can be hard for the animal, so people often use several for one role(角色). They look alike. Many trainers say that dogs are the best to work with, and cats are the most difficult.
