Camels can live for about 40 years old, but they usually stop working at the age of 25. Camels don't like running, because it is too hot. But if you want them to run, they can run 20km an hour. The dromedary or the Arabian camel, has longer hair and one hump. There are about 14 million camels in the world, and most of them are dromedaries.
An adult camel is about 2.1 meters tall, and it can walk for more than 600 kilometers without drinking. They only need to drink water every six or eight hours. But if there is water, they can drink up to 90 liters.
