A long time ago in China, the Jade Emperor went to Earth. He pretended to be a tired old man who needed food. In a forest, he met a fox, a rabbit, and a monkey. He asked them for food. Later, the Jade Emperor found out about this and asked the Jade Rabbit himself to decide what his punishment (惩罚) should be. The Jade Rabbit told the Emperor that he would go and live in the Moon Palace with Chang’e and be lonely forever.
