The FIBA Asia Cup 2025 took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 5-17 August. The Chinese national basketball team tried their best and played great.

In the second quarter, Wang Junjie helped China get a 15-point lead. Australia got closer, but Hu Mingxuan’s three-pointers kept China ahead 46:42 at half-time. 

Next, both played hard. China led by 3 points going into the last quarter.

The final quarter was exciting. Both teams fought hard until the end. The game was very close. At last, Australia won with a final score of 90:89.

China lost by one point but got second place, their best achievement in ten years. We are proud of their great spirit!
