Summer break gives us time to rest and spend time with our family. And during summer, extra sunlight gives us lots of vitamin D, which is good for our bodies and boosts our mood. On top of that, summer brings lots of fresh produce, including berries, melons, other fruits, and vegetables. Also, summer is a great time to travel with family, catch up with old friends, read fun books, and participate in summer camps and other extracurricular activities.

Summer is not the best season. First, certain parts of the world already face drought, and summer makes it worse. The boiling temperatures destroy crops. And summer is bad for kids! We get lots of bug bites during the summer.

During summer, we get a break from school and homework, and we may get to go to camp. It’s also very hot during the summer, so we can go to the swimming pool and enjoy cold treats like ice pops and ice cream.
