On the evening of February 22, the women’s freestyle skiing halfpipe (U型场地技巧) final for the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics took place at the Livigno Snow Park in Italy. Defending champion Gu Ailing, together with her teammates Li Fanghui, Zhang Kexin, and Liu Yishan, took part in the event.

Li Fanghui continued to perform well and scored 93.00 points. The two Chinese skiers proudly stood on the podium, winning gold and silver.
This was Gu Ailing’s third medal at the games. Before this, she had already won two silver medals in big air and slopestyle (坡面障碍技巧). This time, she finally reached the top and finished her Milan journey with the well-earned gold.
With this victory, China’s total medals reached 15 — 5 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze. This marked China’s best result at an overseas Winter Olympics, and everyone felt proud of the team’s achievement.
