Can a robot be a monk (僧侣)? Gabi can be one. Gabi is a small robot. It is made by Unitree from China.

In South Korea, there is a ceremony (仪式) at a temple. The monks give Gabi a special robe. It learns to put its hands together and pray (祈祷).
The temple makes Gabi a monk. It also lets young people come to visit. The monks give Gabi rules. First, Gabi must be kind to people. Second, it must not break things.
