Hubei has started giving digital ID numbers to humanoid (人形的) robots. These robots are the first ones in China to have such special IDs.

Each robot ID is made up of 29 numbers and letters. Just like our ID numbers, each robot’s ID is unique. The system stores lots of key information, such as the robot’s maker, type and basic settings.

With the digital ID, workers can easily check the robot’s daily use, battery condition and repair history. If a robot goes wrong, people can quickly find out the problem and fix it. New users can also learn about the robot’s past use easily. This is very helpful if someone wants to buy or use a used robot.

Many local robot companies have completed the ID registration (注册). Their robots work in factories, shops and training places. This system helps cut costs and makes it easier to reuse robots.

Humanoid robots are popular around the world. China plays a leading role in the global robot industry. However, the industry still needs common rules. The robot ID system will set clear standards, keep data (数据) safe and prevent possible risks. It will help the robot industry grow better in the future.

1.1.How many characters does each robot ID have?

A 30.

B 28.

C 29.

D 35.

根据文章第二段第一句“Each robot ID is made up of 29 numbers and letters.”

2.2. What does the underlined word “unique” mean?

A The only one.

B Very useful.

C Easy to remember.

D Quite new.

解析:选A。 画线词所在句子提到“Just like our ID numbers, each robot’s ID is unique.”,将机器人ID比作我们的身份证号码,身份证号码具有唯一性,由此可推 unique 意为“唯一的,独一无二的”。 故选A。

3.3. Why can new users trust a used robot with an ID?

A They can check its past use.

B They can get it for free.

C They can change its settings.

D They can talk to its maker.

解析:选A。 根据文章第三段最后两句“New users can also learn about the robot’s past use easily. This is very helpful if someone wants to buy or use a used robot.” 故选A。

4.4. What will the ID system bring to the industry?

A Slow growth.

B Better development.

C More costs.

D Harder repair.

文章最后一段最后一句明确指出“It will help the robot industry grow better in the future.”,即这个ID系统将助力机器人行业未来更好地发展,对应B项“更好的发展”。

5.5. What is the best title for the passage?

A Popular jobs for robots.

B History of robots.

C Robot production ways.

D Special IDs for robots.
