1.1.What should you do before joining the farm help?

A Bring your own tools.

B Sign up ahead of time.

C Wear your best clothes.

D Go with a family member.

根据Activity 1中“You must sign up before you come”可知,参加农场活动需要提前报名。A项错误:原文明确说“Tools and gloves are provided”,工具由活动方提供;C项错误:原文要求“clothes you don’t mind getting dirty”,应穿不怕脏的衣服,而非最好的衣服;D项错误:文中说“Open to all”,未要求必须带家人。故选B。

2.2.Who can take part in the dog event?

A Only Stanford students.

B Only teachers and parents.

C All are welcome.

D Children under ten.

根据Activity 2中“Who: Open to all.”以及Note中“No sign-up needed. Just come!”

3.3.What can families do at the Story Time?

A Read books they bring from home.

B Learn art through books and artworks.

C Draw pictures like famous artists.

D Meet dogs from Pet Partners.

根据Activity 3中“introduces art ideas through two fun children’s books”和“look at artworks by famous artists”可知,家庭可以通过书籍和艺术品学习艺术。

4.4. Where might this text come from?

A A storybook.

B A science magazine.

C A travel guide.

D A university website.

文章以“Stanford University offers three great activities open to the public.”
