Chitu was a red horse. It was the horse of Guan Yu, a leader from the late Han Dynasty. Chitu means a red horse that’s like a tiger. “Tu” is “菟” in Chinese and it means a tiger. Chitu was very strong. Guan Yu became even more powerful because of Chitu.
Dilu
Dilu was the horse of Liu Bei, a leader from the time of the Three Kingdoms (三国). It was good at jumping and running. Some people thought Dilu was hard to control. However, the horse once helped Liu Bei cross a river that was about 10 meters wide. Thanks to Dilu, Liu Bei got away from the enemies who ran after him.
