At the school gate, there is a small shelf with many umbrellas. Our teacher put it there last spring. On rainy mornings, students without umbrellas can take one. They bring them back the next day.
Now there are forty umbrellas on the shelf. Some are red and some are blue. After a rainy day, the shelf is still full, because every child brings the umbrella back. More students can go home with dry clothes now. We all like our “umbrella corner”.
