A mother Stephanie Brown in Virginia was surprised when her 4-year-old son returned from playing outside with a new friend. She says she was surprised on the front porch(门廊) on Tuesday morning to see her son standing next to a baby deer. “Dominic really went outside and brought a deer back,” she posted the photo with those words on Facebook.
Brown said she was in the kitchen when she heard footsteps on the porch. “I was like ‘Okay, he’s getting ready to come in.’ So I turn my head and there it is. It’s like a little baby deer and him. Like, it wasn’t anything strange for him. It was really strange,” she said. “I couldn’t even tell you I was in surprise. I was like, ‘No way. My mind is playing games with me.’”
Brown said her son talked to the young deer and told him that he has cereal(麦片) inside. She let them eat some cereal together before making her son take him back to the tree line, because his mother would be looking for him. The boy, who had named the deer “Flash”, walked the deer back to the woods, the TV station reported.
