Schools should start later. When you’re in school, usually between the ages of 4 and 22, your brain is not yet fully developed. You need more sleep to stay healthy and learn well. — Alice, 9I love sleep, but sleep isn’t everything. Many students have after-school activities. A later start time means later end of school day. So I believe school should not start later in the day. — Anna, 12
School should start later in the day. Kids need over 9 hours of sleep every night — even more when sick. Some say “Just go to bed earlier!” But schools give too much homework, so we stay up late finishing it. Mornings are busy too! If we rush, we might forget homework or books. — David, 9
