Think about what you like: Did you enjoy fixing things or making projects when you were young? Then maybe study machines or electronics (电子学).
Check the details: Different schools call majors different names. Always look at the school’s website to see exactly what you will study.
It’s okay to change: Many students don’t get into their first-choice school or major. Sometimes, they start studying and don’t like it. This is normal! Don’t worry. Keep trying to find what you enjoy and are good at.
Don’t limit yourself to textbooks and papers: When you start studying, don’t just read textbooks. You need to try things with your hands! Doing real projects helps you learn faster.
It’s okay to feel lost or unsure: Feeling lost is normal. Everyone feels this way sometimes. University life is a time to try many different things. Try to find what you love and what you are good at. If you find both, that’s great! You might have found something very important for your life.
