Donald Trump has sold many products under his brand, including sneakers, guitars, coins, and watches. Recently, he announced something new: Trump Fragrances.
The fragrances are called “Victory 45-47,” which Trump says represent “Winning, Strength, and Success.” Each bottle costs $249 and is 3.3 ounces in size, featuring a small gold statue of Trump on top and his signature on the base. This perfume is more expensive than similar products from famous brands like Dior or Chanel. For example, Dior’s Sauvage costs $165, and Chanel’s No. 5 perfume costs $110.
Trump has sold many branded items before, such as phones, sneakers, fancy watches, guitars, and digital cards. Selling these products earns him money — reports say he made millions of dollars from sneakers and fragrances last year.
The Victory 45-47 fragrance comes in versions for men and women. The website says the men’s scent (香味) has “rich, masculine notes”, while the women’s scent offers a “sophisticated, subtly feminine” smell. A perfume expert described the men’s cologne (古龙水) as having hints of cardamom and an amber-woody finish, and the women’s perfume as featuring vanilla, gardenia, and a light, sweet strawberry note. The expert called the smells “likable and general.”
Celebrity perfumes often have common, crowd-pleasing scents — they do this to sell many bottles. This product is not made for people who love rare or unusual smells.
