Brittney’s kayak began to take in water. Then it turned over! Tammy was very scared. Just then, a man nearby saw what happened. He quickly helped Brittney. He held her and grabbed her things. Brittney held onto his float.

Then Tammy’s kayak also got full of water. The kind man gave her his float. With it, Tammy got to safety.

Later, they thanked the man. He didn’t want to tell them his name. But his kindness made them feel very warm.
