A fire started on the sixth floor of a tall building. A man saw the thick smoke from his neighbor’s home. He knew people needed help fast. Tall buildings are hard to escape during a fire.
This brave man climbed out of his window! He moved slowly along the narrow ledge to reach his neighbor’s window. First, he saved two little babies, passing them safely to another apartment. Then, he helped other people get out. He saved six lives in total!
