This morning, I saw a man by his car in the back parking lot. His car wouldn’t start, so he asked for help. I helped him try to start it.
While we waited, I offered him some water. He said he’d been stuck there almost a whole day and thanked me for the water.Then I asked if he was hungry. He looked tired and his eyes got watery. I gave him my two sandwiches. He thanked me again.
I patted his shoulder and said, “Things will get better.” He seemed to really need to hear that.
At last, the car started! He thanked me many times. I hope he’s doing well now.
