Most people have cake for their 80th birthday. But Betty Kellenberger did something amazing — she made history.

Betty is from the US. She became the oldest woman to hike (徒步旅行) the whole Appalachian Trail (阿巴拉契亚小径). The trail is 3,540 kilometres long. She dreamed of this hike for years. In 2024, she finally started it.

The hike was tough. She even fell and went through bad weather. But she didn’t give up. She finished the trail in 2025.

Betty loved the views and people along the way. Now, she says she’s in the best shape of her life!
