I have been ill for long. Weeks ago I decided to go to the local ___1___ for some fresh produce. When driving, I asked aloud in the car, “Please help me to show ___2___ to others today!”
I drove near the market, I saw an elderly man get his wife settled into their car, and then go ___3___ the car to the driver’s side. They were in a ___4___ parking spot which I waited for. It would mean all the ___5___ in being able to walk into the store, or not. Once inside, I could use their electric cart. But ___6___ I used other parking spots, it would be impossible for me to make the distance without falling. So, ___7___ I waited.
Cars behind me honked their horns, even though I had my light blinking to ___8___ I was waiting for that spot. Then I saw this man ___9___ his cellphone and make a call. Minutes went by before he closed his phone. My patience had reached its highest ___10___ “Will you just ___11___ your car?!?!” I yelled at the top of my lungs inside my car. ___12___, the windows were up and he didn’t hear me.
And suddenly it ___13___ me that he was my opportunity to be kind that day, and I ___14___ it. So, in an effort to reverse (使……翻转) the ___15___ energy I had felt for him, I sent him a prayer for his safety on his way home, and I ___16___ his wisdom at making his call while he was ___17___ and not while driving. Sometimes I just have to learn a ___18___ another way. My unheard rant (咆哮) harmed me, not him, and in his ___19___ of not driving while talking. He was showing kindness to untold hundreds of people. I will always be ___20___ to him for the lesson he taught me that day.
