“以轮为翼”：脊髓损伤康复班学员用艺术点亮新生
In April, 32 people in Ningxia danced in wheelchairs (轮椅). They practiced the dance for 45 days. They had spinal injuries (脊髓损伤), but their dance showed hope.
The dance show is from a recovery program. The program held 16 training classes and helped 420 people. Some went back to school, some got married, and 72 won medals (奖章) in sports. Liu Wei is one of them. A car accident in 2022 made him need help to dress and eat. But after joining the program, he got better. “Wheelchair dancing helps me a lot. I feel happy!” he said.
