Big news about the popular movie “Ne Zha 2”! Its screening license (also called the “key”) was officially terminated. It expired at 11:59 pm on June 30th. Cinema owners say they cannot screen a movie after its license expires.
The movie was first shown during the winter holiday (January 29th). Now it’s the summer holiday. After four license extensions, “Ne Zha 2” stayed in cinemas for 153 days!
Box office reports show “Ne Zha 2” earned over 15.909 billion yuan. This made it the fifth highest-grossing movie of all time worldwide. It broke many records!
