Rakesh Kumar Suman is an international student from India. Now, he is studying for a PhD in Psychiatry and Mental Health at Chongqing Medical University.
Rakesh came to China with a dream of studying medicine. After years of hard work, he finished his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in China. During his time here, he fell in love with Chinese culture and even married a Chinese woman. They hold wedding ceremonies in both China and India. Every year, they happily celebrate their wedding anniversary in China.
Rakesh says that Chongqing Medical University gives him a great study environment. The campus (校园) is clean and beautiful. The library is his favorite place to study. His professors are kind. They help him a lot and teach him well. In the hospital, he works with polite doctors and nurses. He also makes friends with friendly Chinese students. The university often has fun activities for international students.
After graduation (毕业), Rakesh wants to work in Chongqing. He hopes to serve in the medical field and teach. He also wants to help China and India work together better in medical science. He believes that by working together, they can make the world a better place for everyone.
