26-year-old traveler Carolina Wilga got lost in the wild for nearly two weeks. A local farmer, Tania Henley, found her walking barefoot on a remote road.
Carolina’s van got stuck. After a crash, she hurt her head, felt confused and left the van — though it had food and water. She got lost.
She stayed 11 nights in the wild. It was cold at night. She had little food, got water from puddles and rain, and sheltered in places like a cave.
Tania found her while returning from a town. Carolina thanked Tania, her “rescuer and angel”.
