吴艳妮：跨栏赛道上的自信“飞人”
Wu Yanni is a great Chinese runner. She was born on July 28, 1997, and runs very fast in the 100-meter hurdles(跨栏赛跑).
When she was little, she liked dancing. But in Grade 5, a sports school found her and said, “You can be a good runner!” She started practicing and won a 200-meter race in Sichuan after three months. That was her first big win!
In 2012, she went to Beijing to learn hurdling. She worked hard every day. “Practice makes perfect,” she says. In 2015, she won the National Youth Games. In 2018, she became the national champion(冠军). Last month in Rizhao, she ran 100-meter hurdles in 12.90 seconds—her best time this season!
People love Wu Yanni. She has two braids(发辫), a big smile, and points to the sky before races. She is always confident!
