Google Kenya said it would not remove a music video from YouTube. Kenya asked Google to take the video off because it showed gay couples and pictures of gay Kenyan public people. The video also shows what it is like to be gay in Kenya. It was made by a band called Art Attack. It is made from the song Same Love. Kenya’s government said the video was bad for society. It will punish anyone who puts the video on the Internet. Kenya’s government says gay couples are not right. Kenyan gay couples can be put in prison for up to 14 years.

A government spokesman said, “We have written to Google to remove the video from YouTube.We hope they will do it in one week.” Google replied, “We read the government’s requests, but we will keep with our company rules on…freedom of expression.”
