How can women stay safe when they are outside? Here are some different opinions.

The best defense is a good offense. Learn to fight back. Your legs have the longest and strongest muscles(肌肉) in your body. Learn to use them. Join in Taekwondo(跆拳道) classes, don’t say, “I have no money”, or, “It’s too difficult”, but ask yourself “Which is more important?” or “How can I protect myself?”
Linda (New Zealand)
Do not stay in the dark area alone when it is too late at night. Try to go somewhere together with your friends. If you walk by yourself, hold your cell phone and be ready to make an emergency(紧急的) call. Many phones now have a button(按钮) on the screen to dial 911 at once. When things happen, keep calm—do not worry.
Robert (US)
When asking the way and someone offers to show you the way by having you follow them, do not go. Just ask for them to point you in the right way. Often, they just want to get you to a place less crowded where your screams can’t be heard.
Tara (South Korea)
When you go to a party, always pour your own drink and bring it with you everywhere...even to the bathroom. This will make it a lot harder for someone to drug you via your drink.
